Daniel C. Little began his collegiate academic career at Illinois Central College, where he gained a double-associates, with high honors, in Mass Comm & Theatre. There, he produced segments for, and edited, the junior college's monthly video news magazine, and stage-managed a half-dozen theatre productions.
He moved to Chicago in 2007 to attend Columbia College Chicago, graduating summa cum laude in 2010 with a B.A. in film/video with an emphasis on directing.
From 2010 to 2016, he worked at WTVP, the PBS member-station broadcasting out of Peoria, IL. While there, he filled varried roles on the station's many original programs, invcluding camera operator, audio operator, editor, and production assistant; he has also directed live and to-tape programs, and for three seasons was the show-runner of The Screening Room, a program dedicated to exhibiting short films produced in Illinois.
He has also directed and/or photographed a catalogue of independent short films.
